Patika, where hospitality is at home

We start from the beginning. When I decided to take a few days off to explore Ogliastra, I started searching the web. I wanted to stay in a place near the sea, so I could easily reach it without long car journeys. As soon as I discovered Le Stanze di Patika, in Tortolì, I was struck by the fact that everyone was talking about it in the best possible way. I thought it was impossible, too good to be true.

So I said to myself: let's book and see if it's the right choice for my holidays? And so I did.

My journey in the world of Patika, and therefore inevitably in that of Patrizia, began when I arrived in front of the B&B, and I was captivated by the beautiful Sardinian handicrafts in the window of the La Terra di Patika showroom.
When I then decided to go up, it was Patrizia who welcomed me with her contagious smile, making me feel at ease, and I immediately understood that I would feel at home. A feeling that was confirmed by many small details, starting from the fact that Patrizia, without even knowing me and having simply listened to me talk about my idea of a holiday, had decided to reserve for me the Harmony Room, guessing my tastes perfectly. For those who have never been to the B&B, the Harmony Room is a beautiful room with a prevailing blue color, which evokes the connection with the sea, my heart's place. To make it even more suitable for my inclinations, there is a particular handmade object in the shape of a sun, one of the many objects created by Sardinian artists that are scattered throughout the structure. A comfortable room, which I felt was mine for my entire stay.

Even though I didn't always have the chance to enjoy the beautiful sunshine of Sardinia, every day of my trip was fantastic, and most of the credit goes to Patrizia.
Every morning, I found a rich breakfast waiting for me. From traditional Sardinian sweets to homemade jams, from warm bread to pancakes, not to mention cheese and dried sausage: what a treat! When it was time to go out, Patrizia would give me her time, providing me with precious advice on the places to visit and suggestions on the experiences to have in the area.

It was an unforgettable holiday, during which I had the chance to see enchanting places, appreciate a land I had never visited before, fall in love with its history and art. But most of all, I discovered that the beautiful words I had read about the B&B Le Stanze di Patika before I left were more than deserved. Because in that corner of paradise in Ogliastra, hospitality is at home.
