Festival dei Tacchi

From August 2 to 8, 2019, the twentieth edition of the Festival dei Tacchi will take place, a manifestation dedicated to contemporary international theater and, like every year, it will take place between the towns of Jerzu, Ulassai and Gairo.
36 artists will participate and 18 shows will be staged. There will also be workshops, book presentations and meetings on the theme, some of which will be held in collaboration with Cantina Antichi Poderi di Jerzu and La Stazione dell’Arte di Ulassai, to once again confirm the link between territory, food and wine and art in all its forms.
Among the guests, Max Paiella, Marco Baliani, Giuliana Musso, Ascanio Celestini, Luigi D’Elia and Gardi Hutter, the world’s most famous clown. Also expected are Paolo Fresu and Paolo Angeli.

Calici di Stelle

For many tourists, participating in Calici di Stelle, one of the most well-known events in Ogliastra, is a tradition.
Every year, in the week around the night of San Lorenzo, Jerzu hosts the famous Wine Festival (or Jerzu Wine Festival). In 2019, it will take place from August 4 to 10: on the calendar, there will be not only the tasting of fine wines from Sardinia and typical dishes from the area in the various wineries of the town, but also sports, cultural and musical events.

Red Valley Festival

The enchanting location of the Red Rocks of Arbatax, on the other hand, will be the perfect setting for one of the most eagerly awaited musical events of the summer in Sardinia, the Red Valley Festival. On stage, from August 14 to 17, 2019, will be some of the biggest artists of the current musical scene. We start with David Guetta, followed by Gigi D’Agostino, Steve Aoki, Deejay Time, Emis Killa and Salmo.
